Exclusive Koala Walk: Kangaroo Island's Wild Encounter

Mikyla gave us a wonderful and very informative tour, the best I have had for wildlife. We saw lots of koala and learned new things as well as having a nice walk in the bush. Thank you Mikyla.

We had a brilliant two hours being led on a wander through the bush by Mikyla. We saw around 15 koalas, some really close up! Nice to finish up on the spectacular dunes. Easy access and a loo, what more could you want. Great value for money.

What an experience! Just our family (2 adults, 2 children) with guide Candice. She knows so much about the wildlife, plants and history of the area. Very interesting. The weather when we went was pretty changeable (super windy; frequent showers then bright sunshine) and with young children this made it a challenge to keep coats on etc. Candice was very patient and kind, lending us waterproofs and helping to carry things when our hands were full of children. She modified the route and went at our pace to ensure we had the best possible experience. She even cycled the route again at the end to find my husband's phone which he thought he'd dropped. We had a great time and saw loads of koalas. Thank you!

This tour was more than I expected. Our guide Candice was super knowledgeable, and we learnt so much from her. Candice’s enthusiasm, positive happy energy made our tour so enjoyable. The time flew by! We saw many koalas in their natural habitat, and other interesting wildlife. I would highly recommend this tour to people of all ages.

We joined the Koala Walking Tour and it was absolutely wonderful! 🐨 We got to see koalas up close, learn interesting facts about bees, and discover more about the local plants. Candice was amazing – clear, passionate, and always happy to answer our questions. I highly recommend this experience to anyone who wants to immerse themselves in nature and learn something new!

Adam and Nic were our brilliant guides on the wildlife walk. Their enthusiasm and interesting facts even had my teenage boys engaged. The amount of wildlife we spotted, with their help is unbelievable. Thank you for a fabulous experience we will treasure the memories.

i had such an amazing time on the sunset koala walk thanks to our amazing guide candice!!! 🥰🥰 it was my favorite tour of my entire trip :) she knew so much about the plants, the animals, and the history of the island i was seriously impressed 🤯🤯 she was so kind and answered all of our questions, and i learned SO MUCH!!! we got to see koalas and kangaroos in the wild, which was such a rewarding experience, and the views overall were literally breathtaking. truly such a wonderful experience; i would definitely do it again :) highly recommend!!!! thank you candice, you were the best 💖

A wonderfully delightful wander through beautiful bushland koala spotting. Between the 6 guests we spotted about 20 koalas which was wonderful. Temika is a great guide and sourced some bush tucker for us to taste as well. She was very informative and helped make the experience truly memorable.

Brooke was our tour guide and she was very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. She led us to all the spots most likely to view koalas and we saw many. Mothers and babies. We also sow a small mob of kangaroos and some beautiful bright rosellas. All together a great experience, highly recommend.

The temperature was over 36 celsius so idea of two hour walk in the bush sounded like an ordeal to our group, used to much colder weather, but it turned out koalas know better: it's cooler under eucalyptus tree. Don't skip this tour if you think it's too hot! Our guide was very knowledgeable and we would've listened her talk about the nature and animals even without koalas. In addition to koalas (not only one, but many) we spotted some kangaroos as well and learned about the trees. Plus of course learned to spot koalas. A very much recommended walk!
